The Importance of Local Politics
When we look across the vast expanse that is our nation, we can miss the important things that are right in front of us. We often see on the news or read in the paper about the “hard work” being done in D.C. and then months later we feel the pain of their foolish actions. For years government has been running on autopilot. The main problem with that is that it appears that a drunken sailor programmed the thing. Run away spending and a complete departure from Constitutional mandates are the norm. So much so that we rarely exhibit more than a shrug of the shoulders when it happens. There is no constitutional authority for OUR representatives in D.C. to pass ANY of the current health care legislation, yet it would seem they are going to do so anyway.
Months and years from now who will be feeling the pain from this foolishness? We will, the residents of Campbell County. We will be the ones who suffer because of poor fiscal restraint. When inflation has devalued our currency. We will be the ones paying more. Further, what will we do when the doctors have all quit? How will we get the care we need? Who will American’s turn to when that day comes? Likely to the very same buffoons that created the mess! Will we then realize that politics is a local issue and a local problem? Will we then realize that it matters that we elect strong conservatives that will stand up to this tyranny at the county and state level? WE THE PEOPLE have a duty to preserve and protect the Constitution from those that would harm it. The oath that our representatives have taken and forgotten says “from all enemies foreign and domestic”. Right now those enemies are domestic in the House and Senate and are funded by foreign communists like George Sorros.
The only way this will change is if we restore true Republican principles. The only way that will happen is if YOU get involved. For too long the leadership of the party has been a top down affair, this must change. We need your help. All frustration aside. Some of you have done nothing politically for some time, if ever. At best you turn out to vote. At worst you don’t even do that. When will you stand up and say “ENOUGH”? After the chains of debt have enslaved your children and grand children? Campbell county needs you and needs you today!
