OFFICIAL CALL

Mass Meeting of Campbell County Committee of the Republican Party of Virginia

As Chairman of the Campbell Committee of the Republican Party, and pursuant to the Plan of Organization and as recommended and directed by the Committee, I, Kurt Feigel, do hereby issue this call for a Mass Meeting to be held at the Haberer Building – 47 Courthouse Lane, Rustburg, VA 24588 in the basement, starting at 7:00pm local time with registration starting at 6:00pm local time on April 19, 2012 for the following purposes:

1. Electing a Unit Chairman;

2. Electing members of the Unit Committee;

3. Electing up to 580 Delegates and an equal number of Alternates to the Republican Party of Virginia State Convention, to be held on June 16, 2012 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center – 403 North Third Street Richmond, VA 23219 beginning at 10am for the purposes of election a State Party Chairman, RNC National Committeeman, RNC National Committeewoman, 13 At-Large Delegates and 13 At-Large Alternate Delegates to the RNC Convention, and two At-Large Presidential Electors. Each unit is entitled to one (1) Delegate Vote per 250 Republican votes for Governor and President at their last election, so that Campbell County is entitled to 116 Delegate Votes;

4. Electing up to 290 Delegates and an equal number of Alternates to the 5th Congressional District Convention, to be held on Saturday May 19, 2012, at Johns Auditorium on the campus of Hampton-Sydney College, Hampden-Sydney, VA or its alternate site, beginning at 11:00 am for the purposes of electing a District Chairman, three Delegates and three Alternate Delegates to the RNC Convention, a Presidential Elector, and three members of the Republican Party of Virginia State Central Committee. Each unit is entitled to one 1 Delegate Vote per 500 Republican votes for Governor and President at their last election, so that Campbell is entitled to 58 Delegate Votes.

1. and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before the mass meeting.

Qualifications for Participation

All legal and qualified voters of Campbell County under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Republican Party and who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required, their intent to support all of its nominees for public office in the ensuing election, may participate as members of the Republican Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party canvasses, conventions or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.

Filing Requirements

Candidates for election of Unit Chairman must file the pre-file form along with a non-refundable $50.00 filing fee, by mail or in person to Kurt Feigel at 21430 Timberlake Road #212 – Lynchburg, Virginia 24502 which must be received not later than 6p.m. on April 13^h, 2012. Postmarks do not govern.

Candidates for election at said mass meeting to serve as Delegates/Alternate Delegates to the RPV State Convention, 5^th Congressional District Convention, or those who seek membership in the Campbell County Republican Committee must file a pre-file form and any membership or voluntary filing fees, by mail or in person to Kurt Feigel at 21430 Timberlake Road #212 – Lynchburg, Virginia 24502 which must be received not later than 6p.m. on April 13^th, 2012. Postmarks do not govern.

Registration Fee

There will be no registration fee to participate in this mass meeting. Individuals who seek election as a Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the RPV State Convention are asked to submit a voluntary $35 registration fee. Individuals who seek election as a Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the 5^th Congressional District Convention are asked to submit a voluntary $10 registration fee. Individuals who wish to seek membership in the Campbell County Republican Committee are required to pay yearly membership dues of $15 for 2012 or $30 for 2012 and 2013.
